Frank West School was built in 1958 and modernized in 2004. It sits on 11.77 acres, of which 7.3 acres is playground. The school has 29 classrooms, a multi-purpose center, library, computer lab, and an instructional materials center. 


The mission of Frank West School is to promote, encourage, and support our students in developing a lifelong commitment to learning. At Frank West School we use a commonsense approach to fostering a positive school climate and learning environment.  We teach students skills to cultivate confidence, make good decisions, build character, and to become lifelong learners.  Building resiliency in our students is of primary importance at Frank West School.  Staff, students, parents and community businesses’ work together to promote positive and nurturing relationships. 

 

In 2008, Frank West achieved its AYP (Academic Yearly Performance Index) and API (Academic Performance Index).
